Andrew walked into his first yoga class a total skeptic, wearing a baseball hat and wondering if guys practiced yoga. At first attracted to how physically challenging the practice was, then to the precision, depth and vastness of the practice, Andrew has been totally hooked ever since that first class… and he still rocks the baseball hat.
Andrew’s intense dedication to the practice challenges him to learn on and off the mat every day. Andrew received his 280 hour certification from Raji Thron’s Yoga Synthesis training. He has achieved advanced certifications with Schuyler Grant of Kula Yoga Project and multiple additional advanced trainings under Maty Ezraty. Andrew draws upon his early interests in Ashtanga, intrigue in movement of vinyasa, precision and creativity of kula flow, intelligence of Iyengar yoga, and total love of inversions to create a fusion of creative flow while getting upside down with precise integration and alignment. He is eternally grateful to his teachers Maty Ezraty, Carrie Owerko, and Schuyler Grant.
