Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word meaning "to step or place in a special way". By paying specific attention to each step, you become more precise, deliberate, and purposeful. Instead of feeling scattered you become centered and increase skill in action. In a Vinyasa practice the yogi surfs the waves of the breath and consciously pairs it with the movement. This practice of presence & awareness leads to Meditation in Motion. The "i" in iFlow stands for: inspired by nature and the breath; intelligent in terms of sequencing and alignment; and intuitive regarding the adaptive quality of the practice to be modified to suit any practitioners ability.
