Folks Who Found Their Flow

We’re deeply honored by the love expressed by our global family members about their experiences with Amy and iFlow. Here are some of their stories.

200 Hour Teacher Training, Down Dog House

Amy has thousands of hours of trainings under her belt, so you don't learn yoga from a single perspective.

I started the iFlow Yoga teacher training just days after a traumatic life event. I had no idea how healing and transformative this journey would be. Amy and Freddy provide a loving and supportive environment in which to learn. Their teachings are so thorough...above and beyond the curriculum of any other program that I looked into.

Amy has thousands of hours of trainings under her belt, so you don't learn yoga from a single perspective. Rather, you learn a multi-faceted approach. You learn not just the ins and outs of the asana, but how to apply the iFlow Yoga Alignment Elements and truly TEACH the transformative effects of yoga. I will forever feel blessed and grateful that I chose to study under the iFlow yoga program.

Amy's extensive yoga knowledge can help anyone advance their practice.

The iFlow Yoga Retreat was an amazing experience. Amy's extensive yoga knowledge can help anyone advance their practice. I felt motivated and encouraged to explore my own potential and ability. She guides you through a variety of yoga styles, flows and breathing techniques while interpreting yoga philosophy. The location was a beautiful (and fun!) place to immerse in yoga...

Amy has a special way of delivering information and sharing her experiences. She brings out your confidence and encourages you to teach asana, pranayama and meditation early on into the training program.

The iFlow Yoga teacher training program has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and one of the best experiences I have ever had. Amy and Freddy open up their hearts (and their home) to create a uniquely special experience with the perfect balance of philosophy, spiritual meditation, asana, and Ayurveda. They not only teach you how to be a capable and confident yoga teacher but they also help transform your life into something greater. They facilitate bonding experiences within the kula and enable ever-lasting friendships that support you during and after the training.

She brings out your confidence and encourages you to teach asana, pranayama and meditation early on into the training program. This training had me fully prepared to teach public yoga classes. It also bettered me as a person and taught me how to lead a more Ayurvedic lifestyle.

The iFlow 200 Hour program has made such a positive impact on my life, and has truly left me feeling enriched, inspired and craving more!

When I started the iFlow 200 Hour Teacher Training program, I went into it with an open mind. I had been having a year full of struggles & heartache and began to lose myself. I was hoping that deepening my yoga practice would help me get back on track. What I got out of the program was more than I could have ever expected.

With two out of this world teachers, Amy and Freddy Pastore, each day spent with them was an amazing day full of knowledge & love. They never failed to inspire me, along with my other classmates (who are now my yogi sisters for life). The iFlow 200 Hour program has made such a positive impact on my life, and has truly left me feeling enriched, inspired and craving more! In the beginning I expected some good workouts and a better understanding of yoga in general, but Amy has provided me with so much more than that. I feel strong, inspired, confident, and have discovered a peace within myself that I haven't felt in a long time. I cannot wait to be able to share all I've learned with others.

“Thorough, intensive, strong, kind and fun teaching!”

I would highly recommend this training. It’s definitely the most challenging thing I have ever done but by far the most rewarding and life enhancing. Personally, it has benefited me physically, mentally and emotionally. Plus on top of becoming a happier more balanced person, you are trained (within an inch of your life!) to be the very best yoga teacher you can be.

It’s a very rounded and complete course; it covers so much more than I expected and equips you with a vast amount of knowledge and skills in a relatively short time. The teaching is really well structured and comprehensive. It makes sense. You are taught in depth vinyasa sequencing and correct alignment but also how to teach from your heart, freely and independently. It’s fun! Amy is amazing, her team are brilliant, the location perfect. A truly invaluable experience!

“Amy is a tremendous resource on alignment, adjustment, sequencing and breath.”

I decided to earn my yoga teaching certification with iflow Yoga because I had heard good things about it through word of mouth. There are a ton of options out there and while I didn’t know Amy personally, I had studied with two of the supporting teachers who helped with this course. I highly respected their knowledge so I knew Amy would be very skillful in her teaching as well.

I had studied yoga casually for a long time and instructed friends for several years before feeling the time was right to formally become a teacher. This course pushed me forward greatly in my path as both a student and teacher of yoga. The group of students was very mixed in terms of background and prior yoga experience, but I think everyone felt challenged regardless of how much exposure they already had.

Amy has pursued extensive training to become a truly masterful teacher and has deep knowledge of anatomy which she skillfully applies to the iflow approach, which emphasizes intelligent alignment, strong and fluid vinyasa, and ways of challenging and inspiring students at every level of ability.

It was very important to me to invest in a teacher training where I would learn how to guide safe, strong asana and give good adjustments, but also learn a lot about the other aspects of yoga such as philosophy, spirituality, meditation, pranayama, etc., and iflow offered a taste of all these in a pragmatic, open minded way. I was especially pleased with the focus on philosophy, a large daily component of the course that delved as deeply into the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Ayurveda as a month-long course permits.

Because so much was offered, the pace and intensity of the training was rigorous. So I would recommend iflow to people who are serious about studying or teaching yoga because there is not as much a retreat/vacation vibe as you might find on a less serious training.
