Yin Yoga postures are held for 1 to 5 minutes and done passively. This method of practice stretches the fascia and creates space in the body. It increases flexibility, boost circulation and reduces tension.
Restorative Yoga poses are also held for longer periods of time and incorporate the use of yoga props to support the body in various shapes to promote deep, passive opening. This allows access to the parasympathetic or “Rest and Digest” Nervous System which helps the body rest, heal, and recalibrate.
Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep is a form of meditation done laying down where we find the sacred space between wakefulness and sleep. It brings us into a state of harmony & relaxation where we can awaken to our truest nature and deepest bliss.
❤️This is a great experience to share with a loved one... and again, absolutely zero yoga experience necessary for this workshop.
