Bypassing Chaturanga Dandasana: A Safe Alternative

I created this modified vinyasa to help my beginner students build strength and access the actions needed to practice the Chaturanga to Upward Facing Dog transition safely.

I’m not a fan of teaching students to drop their knees in high plank and move through Chaturanga to upward dog. I feel this action heavily loads the lower back. There are better, safer ways to make the transition.  Here’s a short video on the iflow Yoga transition I like to use instead.
